Tim broj 6,
koji čine Nemanja Čađo - umetnik iz
Prijedora, Srđan Tunić - kustos, i ja,
Prijedora u Beograd nekoliko dana kasnije.
odlika ovog njegovog rada – podložnost promeni u nekoj meri, uklapanju i manjim
transformacijama.
U narednih par dana sledi nabavka materijala, usklađivanje
određenih tehničkih aspekata, brainstorming Srđana i Nemanje oko nekih konceptualnih
premisa rada, i na kraju, sama postavka izložbe!

hm, ovaj je dobar
Team No. 6, which consists of
Nemanja Cadjo - artist from Prijedor, Srdjan Tunic - curator, and I, Andjela
Milinkovic-associate curator, made the
first communication through extensive email correspondence, and through Skype
meetings, as Nemanja should come from Prijedor
to Belgrade a few days later.
The first time the team got together was two days ago when Nemanja arrived in Belgrade.
First, I got together with Nemanja in Savamala to visit the streets where the exhibition
will be set and to see which site would fit most for his work. Nemanja will participate
in this exhibition with finished concept of the work, ie. the work that has
already been exhibited in Prijedor and Split, called the "Silk Road".
This is an ambient installation for which he needs tall trees, so
we visited some points around Mikser house where there is a bit of greenery and
where his work might fit good. While we was visiting sites, Nemanja came up
with a slightly different concept that would fit into the Mikser festival,
because that is another characteristic feature of his work ... it can be
changed to some extent, it can be
adapted and it welcomes a smaller transformations.
A little bit later Srdjan joined us , and this was the first
time that all three of us got together.
The very next day we were again into action. Three of us met in front of the
Palace Albania and we set off into the
search for drapery that plays a major role in the "Silk Road".
Nemanja searched for a quite specific drapery: it shouldn`t be silk, but it should be breezy, it shouldn`t be wrinkled, but it should be as white
as snow. We visited a few shops with materials and have found something that
was very similar to what we were looking for.
Meanwhile, Srdjan who was previously in the Mikser house brought us the news
about the prospect of putting Nemanja’s
art work where we had previously planned,
so that question was slowly beginning to
crystallizes. In the next few days what should follow is the purchase of the materials,
coordination of certain technical aspects, Srdjan’s and Nemanja’s brainstorming about some of the conceptual
premises, and finally setting of the exhibition!
